House of Praise is privileged to be affiliated with the following organizations.
Alight Care Center
Alight works to: 1. uphold the value of life through pro-life services; 2. change lives through medical & spiritual care and 3. strengthen families through education and a helping hand.
They have the first Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) in NY State. This MMU provides free sonograms on college campuses and city streets. Staff then offer each women considering abortion, alternatives.
Capital City Rescue Mission
The Rescue Mission provides shelter, clothing, and care for the homeless in the Capital District. They also have a Christ-centered rehab and support groups for Addiction Recovery. Their latest project is transitional housing for reintegration back into a productive life.
Cooperative Christian Ministries of Schodack (CCMS) A cooperative ministry of local churches that seeks to feed the hungry and clothe people of all ages. The Anchor is the food pantry and thrift store located in

JC Feeding Clubs
The clubs reach inner-city, at-risk children. They feed over 30,000 children yearly in Albany, NY. Providing after school program as well that offer ing, mentoring and counseling.
Open Door Relief Center
The Open Door distributes food and non-perishable personal items to those in need in South Florida. The Open Door began as a response to the hurricanes in Florida and no seek to meet the remaining needs. Founded by Sam & Cynthia Lamanna, former members at the House of Praise, Pastor Lon is a board member of this outreach.

Hearts of the Father Ministries
John & Libby Mortiz were long-time members of the House of Praise. After the tragic loss of their own children, they felt God turn their hearts towards caring for the unwanted children of the world. They began loving homes for orphans, in Ghana and India. They now have a program similar to U.S. foster care in Africa to expand the number of orphans they can care for.

Eric & Ginny Hanson, founders
The Hanson work on the front lines in Cambodia combating Human Trafficking, and caring for orphans. They have a very diverse ministry that includes a local church, a ministry training center, an orphanage and Sak Sum an organization the provides survivors of Human Trafficking job skills and education to support themselves and stay free. The Johnathan Carey Foundation
This foundation focuses on Defending those who can’t defend themselves and Lobbying for Vulnerable, Special Needs Children to prevent abuse.
Love 146 works to help abolish human trafficking through raising awareness about human trafficking and by supporting recovery units.
The House of Praise also believes in supporting like-minded church plants.
We have supportive relationships with the following churches:
Pastor Bob Hulett Jr. is was a staff pastor at House of Praise for several years. He and his wife Stephanie planted a new church plant in Cape Coral Florida. This is a like-minded church focused on making disciples for Jesus.
City Church Albany
Pastors Mike Moore served as Youth Pastor at House of Praise for 18 months before planting City Church with a group of friends from Texas. His wife Kristi grew up at House of Praise and was a part of the worship team. City Church exists to lead people who are far from God into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
New Horizons Christian Church
Pastor David Traynham was ordained into the ministry at the House of Praise in 1990 and along with his wife Brenda, founded New Horizons Christian Church shortly after. This was the first official church plant from the House of Praise. The Trayhams have a heart for the inner city and racial reconciliation. Pastor David is currently serving as the Albany director of the NAACP.
Victory Christian Church
Pastors Charlie and Tammy Muller were part of the House of Praise for many years. Pastor Charlie felt a burden to reach inner-city Albany with the Gospel of Jesus and Victory Church was born. Their missions statement is to ‘change one life at a time.’ With amazing outreaches such as the JC Feeding Clubs and the Gun Buy Back program they truly are.
